Where Preparation
Meets Performance.
The SkillsUSA Massachusetts Championships bring career and technical education students together to put their knowledge, craftsmanship, leadership, and professionalism to the test across more than 100 competitive events. Evaluated by business and industry professionals, competitors demonstrate the skills they’ve built through their education and training, with state champions earning the opportunity to advance and represent Massachusetts on the national stage.
SKILLSUSA STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS
The SkillsUSA Championships are competitive events showcasing the best career and technical education students in the nation. Contests begin locally and continue through the state and national levels.
In Massachusetts, the competition is a 1.3 million event that occupies a space equivalent to 10 football fields. In 2025, there were more than 2,000 contestants in 110 separate events. Nearly 600 judges and contest organizers from business, industry, and labor make the state event possible.
The philosophy of the Championships is to reward students for excellence, to involve industry in directly evaluating student performance, and to keep training relevant to employers’ needs.
