MRE Challenge

What: MRE Challenge Competition for Culinary Students
When: October 27, 2026, 9:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Cost: FREE
Key Registration Info: Registration opens October 6, 2026; registration closes October 16, 2026.

 SkillsUSA Massachusetts is excited to welcome you to the 2026 MRE Challenge.

 Contestants will demonstrate using their culinary knowledge and sanitation as well their ability to utilize and be creative with Military issue MREs. Contestants will produce 2 each of the following: 

• One appetizer 

• One entrée 

• One dessert 

• One 12 oz. beverage (hot or cold)
