COMMONWEALTH VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARD

The Commonwealth Volunteer Service Award (CVSA) recognizes SkillsUSA Massachusetts members who demonstrate sustained commitment to volunteer service. Members may apply for Bronze, Silver, or Gold recognition based on verified service completed during an eligible 12-month period.

Individual members may apply for an individual award, while SkillsUSA Massachusetts chapters may combine eligible service hours to apply for a team award. CVSA recipients may include this recognition on resumes, college applications, scholarship applications, and employment materials.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must be current SkillsUSA Massachusetts members and provide proof of membership as part of their application. Individual and team award levels are determined by verified volunteer-service hours.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

A complete application must include proof of current SkillsUSA membership, a volunteer service log or team timesheet, verification letters from each organization where service was performed, and a nomination letter from a SkillsUSA advisor or instructor.

All service hours must be appropriately documented and verified in order to be considered.
