The Senior Adventures in Leadership Conference (SAiL) is a one-day experience designed specifically for SkillsUSA Massachusetts seniors as they prepare to transition beyond high school. Through leadership development, career-readiness training, and practical life skills, students explore the tools and experiences that can help them successfully move from Career and Technical Education into college, the workforce, and other postsecondary opportunities.
Throughout the conference, students participate in interactive training focused on résumé development, networking and relationship building, financial literacy, workplace readiness, and preparing for the realities of life after graduation. SkillsUSA business partners, alumni, and program graduates help connect these lessons to real-world experiences while reinforcing the personal, workplace, and technical skills of the SkillsUSA Framework.
SAiL allows seniors to reflect on what they have gained through SkillsUSA while preparing for what comes next. Students who complete the conference requirements are recognized as SAiL Graduates and receive a SAiL Conference Diploma, Sash, and Pin, celebrating their leadership development and readiness to carry their SkillsUSA experience forward into their next chapter.
