Mariyana Lords serves as the National High School Treasurer and Joint Executive Council Secretary for SkillsUSA. As a SkillsUSA national officer, Mariyana is part of a team of highly motivated and talented students elected to represent their peers at the national level. National officers demonstrate strong leadership, professionalism, and a deep commitment to the mission of SkillsUSA while serving as ambassadors for the organization.

In her role, Mariyana helps represent SkillsUSA members across the country by participating in national events, advocating for SkillsUSA with government officials, and promoting the organization’s programs and initiatives to students, educators, business and industry professionals, and other stakeholders nationwide.

Mariyana is a senior in the Electrical Technology Program at Nashoba Valley Technical High School and hopes to become a licensed master electrician. Outside of SkillsUSA, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, whether that means a nighttime ice cream run, spending time together locally, or traveling for vacation.

Mariyana holds numerous certifications and credentials through SkillsUSA, including Framework Certification, CTE Knowledge Certification, Communicating with Authenticity and Integrity in Informal Situations, and the Career Essentials Credential. She also holds OSHA 10 Construction and OSHA 10 General Industry certifications, a Biliteracy Attainment certification in Spanish, and Stop the Bleed certification.
