Caitryn Ellis is the State Vice President for SkillsUSA Massachusetts. As a SkillsUSA Massachusetts state officer, Caitryn is part of a team of highly motivated and talented students elected to represent their peers at the state level. Officers work hard to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and a deep commitment to the mission of SkillsUSA. They serve as ambassadors for the organization by leading events, advocating for SkillsUSA, and promoting SkillsUSA’s programs and initiatives to students, educators, and industry professionals across the country.
As a student, Caitryn is a senior in the Cosmetology program at Plymouth South High School and hopes to attend a four-year college and earn a Bachelor of Science degree.
Outside of SkillsUSA, Caitryn enjoys traveling to new places, whether it’s seeing the White Mountains in New Hampshire or visiting the beaches of Florida, and spending quality time with her friends and family in her hometown.
She has earned her Framework Certification, CTE Knowledge Certification, WLTI Statesman Award, Region 1 Statesman Award, and Silver Standard CVSA through SkillsUSA, as well as her EEC Assistant Preschool Teacher Certification and OSHA 10 Certification. She is also on track to complete her 1,000 hours and take her state board cosmetology exam during this school year.
