Anthony Romero Garcia is the State Eastern Region Vice President for SkillsUSA Massachusetts. As a SkillsUSA Massachusetts state officer, Anthony is part of a team of highly motivated and talented students who have been elected to represent their peers at the state level.
In his role as State Eastern Region Vice President, Anthony supports membership growth throughout the region while helping lead events, strengthen connections between schools, and advance the mission of SkillsUSA. Alongside the State Executive Council, Anthony serves as an ambassador for the organization, advocating for SkillsUSA and promoting its programs and initiatives to students, educators, industry professionals, and other stakeholders across the Commonwealth.
Anthony is a junior in the Electrical Technology program at Lynn Vocational Technical Institute and aspires to become either a master electrician or a hydroelectric engineer. Outside of SkillsUSA, Anthony enjoys giving back to his community through service at his local food shelter and church. He has also developed an interest in multimedia and production as a personal creative pursuit.
Anthony has earned two years of the President’s Volunteer Service Award at the Gold level, the Commonwealth Volunteer Service Award at the Gold level, and both state and national gold medals in Community Service. He also holds SkillsUSA Framework Certification, CTE Certification, the Leader Award, and OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety and Health Certification.
