Amelia Vazquez is the State Treasurer for SkillsUSA Massachusetts. As a SkillsUSA Massachusetts state officer, Amelia is part of a team of highly motivated and talented students who have been elected to represent their peers at the state level. Officers work hard to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and a deep commitment to the mission of SkillsUSA throughout their term. As an officer, Amelia serves as an ambassador for the organization, leading events, advocating for SkillsUSA with government officials, and promoting SkillsUSA’s programs and initiatives to students, educators, and industry professionals across the country.

As a student, Amelia is a senior in the Health Assisting program at Greater Lawrence Technical High School and hopes to pursue a career in pediatric neurosurgery.

Outside of SkillsUSA, Amelia enjoys reading nonfiction books focused on biology, discovering new café spots to study in, and taking long road trips around the country.

As a passionate CTE student, Amelia holds an OSHA 10 certification, a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license, a Soft Skills certification, Alzheimer and Dementia certification, CPR/First Aid certification, and Basic Life Support certification.
