Mariyana Lords
Mariyana Lords is the State Historian for SkillsUSA Massachusetts. As a SkillsUSA Massachusetts state officer, Mariyana is part of a team of highly motivated and talented students who have been elected to represent their peers at the state level. Officers work hard to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and a deep commitment to the mission of SkillsUSA. Officers serve as ambassadors for the organization, leading events, advocating for SkillsUSA with government officials, and promoting SkillsUSA’s programs and initiatives to students, educators, and industry professionals across the country. As a student, Mariyana is a junior in the Electrical Technology program at Nashoba Valley Technical High School and hopes to one day become a commercial electrician for the IBEW Local 103. Outside of SkillsUSA, Mariyana enjoys spending time in nature, whether it’s a cold winter day skiing with friends or a warm spring evening kayaking with family. She also enjoys listening to and playing all kinds of music every day. She holds Framework certification, CTE certification from SkillsUSA, Communicating with Integrity and Authenticity Certification, Leader Award from SkillsUSA, along OSHA 10 general and construction certifications.
