Lauren McPherson
Lauren McPherson is the State Vice President for SkillsUSA Massachusetts. As a SkillsUSA Massachusetts state officer, Lauren is part of a team of highly motivated and talented student leaders elected to represent their peers at the state level. In this role, she helps lead events, support chapter development, and promote the mission of SkillsUSA throughout the state. Officers are dedicated to serving as ambassadors for the organization, advocating with government officials, connecting with industry professionals, and engaging students and educators in SkillsUSA’s programs and initiatives. Lauren is a senior in the Legal and Protective Services program at Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School and plans to pursue a career either in the Navy or a career as a behavioral analyst for the FBI. Outside of SkillsUSA, she stays active playing ice hockey and lacrosse and participating in martial arts, and when she needs a break from physical activity, she likes to keep her mind sharp and enjoys reading history and true crime books. Lauren also has a strong commitment to personal and professional growth, holding a wide range of certifications, including the SkillsUSA Framework Certification, CTE Knowledge Certification, Communicating with Authenticity Certification, CPR and AED, Stop the Bleed, Police Mountain Bike Training, and OSHA 10 in General Industry Safety and Health.
