Kelsey Ikonen

Kelsey Ikonen is the Secretary for SkillsUSA Massachusetts. As a SkillsUSA Massachusetts State Officer, Kelsey is part of a team of highly motivated and talented students who have been elected to represent their peers at the state level. Officers work hard to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and a deep commitment to the mission of SkillsUSA. Officers serve as ambassadors for the organization, leading events, advocating for SkillsUSA with government officials, and promoting SkillsUSA’s programs and initiatives to students, educators and industry professionals across the country. As the State Secretary, Kelsey exemplifies leadership and professionalism, maintains organized and accurate records, fosters clear communication across chapters, and proudly represents SkillsUSA Massachusetts at events statewide and nationally. As a student, Kelsey is a senior in the Engineering Technology program at Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School and hopes to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Outside of SkillsUSA, Kelsey enjoys playing soccer and spending time with her friends and family. She has her Framework certification, CTE Knowledge certification, Communication with Authenticity certification, Promoting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion as a SkillsUSA Leader certification, and the OSHA 10 certification.
