The fee for professional membership in SkillsUSA is $30.00 annually. $20.00 national dues and $10.00 state dues (in Massachusetts). Here are just some of the upgraded benefits for Professional members:
1. Stand Up-Be Counted: Enrollment as a "supporter" of SkillsUSA students.
2. SkillsUSA offers a variety of training opportunities to our “professional members,” what we call our selfless, hardworking teachers and SkillsUSA advisors. SkillsUSA’s professional development offerings can assist with licensing and certification requirements, provide helpful tools for the classroom, proven strategies for career management and more. Our current offerings for the 2023-24 school year can be found below, and don’t forget to explore our NLSC microsite for specific details on professional development workshops and seminars during our National Leadership & Skills Conference each June.
3. SkillsUSA Technical Fridays feature virtual workshops with experts from different fields. Take advantage of up to 70 free spots per month. Learn more about SkillsUSA Technical Fridays here. We also offer a variety of training to help you be a successful SkillsUSA advisor. Training topics include Framework Integration, Program of Work, Chapter Excellence Program and more.
