FSLC is designed for Chapter Advisors and Chapter leaders to assist them in building strong SkillsUSA programs at their schools. Participants engage through intensive training focused on the elements of the SkillsUSA Framework of personal, workplace and technical skills, while having opportunities to earn the SkillsUSA Massachusetts Leader Award. Chapter Advisors also have the opportunity to earn Professional Development points through a continuum of teacher training.

FSLC está diseñado para asesores de capítulo y líderes de capítulo para ayudarlos a desarrollar programas sólidos de SkillsUSA en sus escuelas. FSLC é projetado para os consultores de capítulos e líderes de capítulos para auxiliá-los na construção de programas fortes da SkillsUSA em suas escolas. Os participantes se envolvem por meio de treinamento intensivo focado nos elementos do SkillsUSA Framework de habilidades pessoais, profissionais e técnicas, ao mesmo tempo que têm oportunidades de ganhar o prêmio SkillsUSA Massachusetts Leader. Os Conselheiros do Capítulo também têm a oportunidade de ganhar pontos de Desenvolvimento Profissional por meio de um continuum de treinamento de professores.

Objectives

​

• For each person in attendance to develop basic leadership skills in the following areas: Time Management, Community Service, Teamwork, Parliamentary Procedure, Public Speaking, SkillsUSA Ceremonies & Culture

• To develop basic skills in organizing a local SkillsUSA chapter.

• To develop basic skills in planning a local SkillsUSA Program of Work.

• To develop an understanding of the goals and purposes of the SkillsUSA organization, as well as an understanding of the structure and program of the organization.

• To motivate the SkillsUSA Chapter Leaders to work for excellence in providing services for their fellow SkillsUSA members in their respective Chapters.

• To unite in a common bond the Chapter Leaders of SkillsUSA.

• To develop an understanding of the importance of the theme “SkillsUSA: Champions at Work” through exploration of the following: SkillsUSA, Total Quality Management, Work Place Readiness, Service, Teamwork and Environmental Stewardship.

• For each person in attendance to complete the requirements of the SkillsUSA Massachusetts Leader Award.
