BEST Award: Multimedia, 2007
We are proud to announce that SkillsUSA Massachusetts have again won SkillsUSA’s “Best Use of Brand: Multimedia” award. The “Best of Brand” awards are given out each year to recognize the state associations who have exemplified the SkillsUSA Brand by “capturing the ‘essence’ or spirit of the SkillsUSA brand and mission as we communicate to others.”
The “Best of Brand” Award selection committee was very impressed with the quality of entries by SkillsUSA Massachusetts in all four categories. The Best of Brand entry for Multi Media submitted by SkillsUSA Massachusetts was chosen as the winner based on the following assessment by the committee:
SkillsUSA Massachusetts presented multiple video segments that were extremely high quality, including a showcase of competitors at the nationals and a piece that conveyed all the faces of champions with upbeat music, tight timings and transitions. The segments stayed on brand but were hip, fast-paced and appealing to students.
SkillsUSA’s branding is about much more than using a logo correctly. It is all about how a state delivers messages and images to members and the general public-in print materials, at conferences and on a state web site. The “Best of Brand” Awards are designed to recognize state associations that demonstrate consistent use of the SkillsUSA brand as outlined in the SkillsUSA Band Guidelines for State Associations.
SkillsUSA Massachusetts truly depicts our mission and our key messages in their daily business. The National office appreciates all that you do to promote SkillsUSA and career and technical education.
Our submission to the Multimedia category — the culmination of many hours of work by our talented staff and volunteers — included PowerPoint presentations, DVDs, Videos, and Scripting. Thanks everyone!
