World Skills - Calgary, Canada 2009
SkillsUSA is a member of WorldSkills — The International Vocational Training Organization headquartered in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This organization sponsors the biennial WorldSkills Competition (WSC).
SkillsUSA fielded the team representing the United States at the WorldSkills Competition. The 39th international event was November 14-21, 2007, in Japan’s Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
Over four days of competition, more than 850 young people, drawn from over 45 member countries or regions, tested themselves against tough international standards. Forty-seven key skills and technologies were covered. The ultimate prizes are gold, silver and bronze medals representing the best in the world.

- but you can do it, just like Tim Dresser did in 1999 and Scott Raymond in 2009.
