2007 Advisor of the Year
The ultimate goal of SkillsUSA is to provide students with opportunities to develop leadership skills. You could say these skills are the foundation of our success, but as we all know, a foundation alone is not enough.
It takes time and commitment to build a structure on that foundation and we are proud that many educators here in Massachusetts believe in us enough to assist us in the development of leadership skills to the highest levels.
Our member's experiences would not be what they are, if it were not for the dedication, support, and encouragement of the career and technical education community and most especially, our advisors.
We are very fortunate to have hundreds of dedicated advisors who are willing to serve SkillsUSA, and we are proud to announce that we are honoring one of our finest partners at this awards session.
Our honoree will be the fourth person in our state association’s proud history to be recognized as “Advisor of the Year”. Our candidates have participated in an interview process during the state conference and we are proud to report that all nominees were outstanding.
Our state association is indeed fortunate to have such fine people serving as advisors in our Chapters. While it has been a difficult process to select one out of such a fine field of candidates, we believe we have selected an advisor who exemplifies the true spirit of our organization.
